Pioneer AVH-P5000DVD 7" In-Dash Double-DIN DVD Multimedia AV Receiver

Customer Review: great (for 1999)
Yes, it plays mp3, dvds, etc... but the user interface is SO UGLY... really, it's like taken from the movie Tron. And it's important to say that i love Tron. Come on, it's not the year 1999. The iPod controls are so old it's barly imposible to find a song it you have a big library. Another flaw is that there is no outside screen, so u ALWAYS have to have the ugly screen out, and trust me, you get sick of it. I wouldn't recomend it. Look for one you can read while closed, and ith a UI at least a little bit nice.

Haier HL26R 26-Inch Widescreen LCD HDTV

The sleek design of the HL26R 26-inch LCD HDTV by Haier will enhance the appearance of any room. It has a high-gloss piano black finish with a blue accent light that runs along the bottom edge. You will enjoy a crisp display with the 1366x768 resolution. It features two component inputs and two HDMI inputs which provide a simple solution for high-quality audio and video input. You can use the 26-inch screen as your computer ¿monitor¿ via the PC input. It has a DSM (HD Engine) and an ATSC/NTSC tuner which allows you to receive free over-the-air HDTV signals. The 30-degree swivel stand allows you to adjust the TV to the perfect viewing angle. Included with the TV is a universal remote control.
Customer Review: Great TV, wonderful price
We bought the Haier 26" TV about three months ago, and absolutely love it. I must admit, we were coming from a 15-year-old 19" TV, so this is our first flat-panel LCD TV. However, I must say I was really surprised by the great picture we've gotten with this TV. I did a lot of research, and have looked at a lot of TVs in the big box shops. This TV has nice deep blacks and vibrant colors. Just make sure you have an HDMI cable, the standard video cable inputs will give you very strange boxing of the video feed. Though I really enjoy the TV, there are a few cons. The most major one is the lack of dynamic recognition of the incoming video type. We watch mostly DVDs, and the TV does not automatically recognize whether the video feed is widescreen or standard, so you must choose the video type each time. (This is really annoying on some DVDs as the menu or previews may be standard, while the main show is widescreen.) The TV comes with a really nifty universal remote, but the volume control ONLY works for the TV, and the control buttons don't fully match up to our DVD player (a new model Philips). Also, the TV is very slow to respond to the remote, it is also slow to turn on and off. Overall, these are minor complaints to what is a very nice TV. We really love it.
Customer Review: Great TV.. easy to set up and use; vivid rich colors; good audio
After searching the web for a 26" TV from the well known Japanese and Korean brands I found that all these TV's are made in China anyway, so I figured, "Why not buy from the source?" Haier is a huge Chinese company, more known for washers, dryers, and refrigerators than electronics, but thoroughly reputable and their 26" TV was $150-$200 less than the same size Japanese or Korean models. The TV arrived on time and I was pleased with the appearance... sleek and well finished. The setup was easy and I was watching in 10 minutes. The remote is not complicated and logical. The picture is superb with beautiful color rendition and good visibility from the sides. The audio is good for the small speakers. DVD hookup was easy. This is a very good TV for the money.

This 1.6 GHz Atom N270 processor also includes a power-optimized front side bus of 533 MHz for faster data transfer on demanding mobile applications and a 512 KB L2 cache (which temporarily stores data).

Customer Review: Great netbook, absolutely love it, touch pad not good
Got it from Wal Mart for 298 $. This is a great netbook pros - After uninstalling Google Toolbar and McAfee and other useless software came with the netbook, it is really fast. 1 GB is enough, if you do that cleanup. - Thinner than D150 model, very light weight. - keyboard is small still usable cons - touchpad isn't that good, gesture for scroll doesn't work always. - screen is glossy, but usable. I prefer glossy screen, some people won't like it.
